Marketing Specialist

We are seeking an experienced and versatile Marketing Specialist to lead strategic marketing and communications initiatives for a variety of clients across multiple industries. This role combines strategic planning, creative execution and hands-on campaign management across both traditional and digital platforms. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, can manage multiple campaigns and budgets and maintains strong client relationships. You must also be creative, proactive and solutions-oriented with a strong attention to detail with a commitment to high-quality work.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement comprehensive marketing and communications strategies for clients across traditional and digital channels
  • Create and execute marketing and social media strategies and campaigns
  • Develop and implement comprehensive marketing and communications strategies for clients across traditional and digital channels
  • Create and execute marketing and social media strategies and campaigns
  • Create engaging content
  • Conduct market research and data analyses to inform marketing strategies.
  • Perform monthly SEO and website analytics reporting
  • Oversee campaign execution and monitor performance
  • Nurture and maintain client relationships
  • Develop budgets, timelines and campaign execution
  • Prepare proposals and presentation decks
  • Coordinate with third-party media partners and other third-party vendors
Qualifications and Skills
  • Proven experience in marketing and social media campaign strategy and management
  • Experience managing budgets and multi-channel campaigns
  • Solid understanding of SEO and website analytics
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing best practises
  • Strong organizational, project management and time management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively and independently
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, client-facing environment
  • Proficiency with Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, Google Workspace, Dropbox and Slack
Preference with be given to candidates with:
  • Knowledge and experience in the agriculture and tourism sectors
  • Knowledge and experience of Google AdWords
  • Experience working in an agency
